Six month old not eating Vegetables?

I have recently started my six month old solids..She is not eatring her veggies..I have introduced rice cereal and she seems to like it so far when i mix the cereal with sweet peas...i have introduced apple sauce and green peas...I think i made a mistake of introducing sweet taste first..

SO now how can i make her eat her veggies..do i sneak her when i feed her fruit?Any advice is highly appreciated..thanks

Well as nasty as this sounds: Mix the veggies in with the fruit and U taste it. Find the right mix and try them with her. I also would give my lil one a spoon, seems if they had a share in feeding themselves (attempting) then they ate easier.
Reply:I'm not a believer in tricking your baby. Keep trying, and she may eventually acquire a taste for it. They say that you may have to offer a food up to 15 times before they like it.
Reply:Yup, sneak it in. That is what we did. At that age, if you get it into her mouth she will swallow it. Some rice cereal, some veggie, then some fruit. Nearly everyone has to do this.
Reply:My son didn't like green veggies or sweet potatos at first. However, he LOVED carrots. have you tried those? Also, I mixed in some cereal with the veggies.
Reply:Who likes vegetables when they're a kid? Babies are usually easiest little people (babies, children all included) to get to eat vegetables because they don't know anything...yet. You really can't blame her much either because baby food in the jars is liquified and looks gross. I imagine it tastes the same too.

As far as what to do, keep breast feeding her. She'll live.
Reply:My daughter hated her vegetables as a baby. I began alternating a spoonful of fruit/spoonful of vegetables. She caught on to that trend pretty quickly though. So I would get a spoonful of vegetables then dip them into the fruit so that was the first taste she got. It worked for her.
Reply:don't worry about it too much, at this age, they are still developing thier taste buds. Even if she doesn't like it now, she might like it later (in another month or two). It is hit or miss in what kids like at this age..Hold back on the fruits a few days before reintroducing the veges that way she will be more accepting of the veggies. try the carrots first, then beans, sweet potoatos before the peas...most kids don't like the peas at all (from the jar-make them fresh and mash them up for her and mix a little milk/formula with them-that worked for me)

Best of luck and don't panic if she won't eat certain foods right now, she will when she gets older.
