ok so i'm still giving Sweet Pea (my new guinea) some relaxing time in her own cage. just until she gets used to me, then i will introduce her to Bella (my other guinea that ive had for a while). but anyways, during Bella's floortime, i brought out my hammy, just to see how it would go. i held taz (hammy) in my hands, and just kinda let Bella and Taz sniff eachother for a minute. Bella sniffed him, then when i pulled him back a little bit, she put her head furthur and climbed on me trying to smell him. i put him on the floor because they seemed to be getting along, then Bella started popcorning and making happy noises. should i let them play together?? they seem 2 be geting along good, but i just wanted to make sure it's okay.
My guinea pigs and my hamster?
It sounds like Bella just wants someone to play with! But, I would recommend that you don't let the two play. You can put your hamster in a hamster ball, and, then let the two play, but, other then that, I would recommend that you don't let them play. It is too risky. Your guinea pig could get scared (if your hamster scares Bella), and, your hamster could get killed! Again, I am sorry for this kind of news, but, I know that your hamster and Bella will be A LOT safer that way! Also, once Sweet Pea has been with you a little bit longer, then, I would recommend that you introduce the two! Then, Bella will have someone to play with! I hope that this answers your question! Thanks, and, I would recommend that you check out this website:

Reply:if you want ur hamster to have a heart attack of fear then sure go ahead . ur guinea pig wont mind playin with ur hamster at all but ur hamster sure wont like the difference in sizes ! watch out cuz ur hamster could get defensive and bite ur guinea and thats when all the bad things happen
Reply:Personally it makes me a bit nervous, only because things can go downhill very quickly, and fighting between rodents is rough. That said, though, I'd say as long as you are supervising it should be okay. It seems like Sweet Pea is yearning for a friend, so hopefully her introductions to Bella will go well and she'll soon have a piggie to befriend.
